I see you, writer.

I've been there.

Writing and/or ghostwriting as a career is a hot mix of joys and challenges, but whatever's eating your lunch right now, I promise, you're not alone.

My first two novels were published by small but mighty imprints in the late 1990s. I followed up with a bestselling memoir and and have since written/ghostwritten more than three dozen books published by Big 5 imprints, prestigious literary houses, and thriving indies.

(Go ahead and check my credentials. I'll wait.)

For 20+ years, I collaborated with extraordinary people on high-profile projects, specializing in fiction and celebrity memoirs. I'm a #1 NYT bestselling ghostwriter and EGOT collaborator. I've been to the publishing rodeo and seen all the clowns. My craft skills are stellar, thanks to three decades of razor-stropping by some of the best editors in the business, and I love sharing what I've learned.

I counsel emerging and established writers at all stages of the creative journey via:

  • a la carte AMA Office Hours

  • small group events

  • live table reads

  • red-line critique sessions

  • extended 12-week trimesters

How may I help you?

Kind Words & Kudos

"Every major success I’ve had in book collaboration can be traced back to attending Joni Rodgers’ ghostwriting masterclass in 2019. I have successfully navigated tricky dilemmas because of Joni’s practical advice. I have landed multiple jobs and met so many cherished colleagues because of relationships that Joni started and/or nurtured. It’s so tough for ghostwriters to find meaningful guidance and education, even though our careers depend on it! I am so grateful that Joni filled that gap for me."
